Taly Receives $25,000 Grant

Writer's picture: Philip DixonPhilip Dixon

Taly is so grateful to be a recipient of a $25,000 grant – our biggest award yet – from the Gisela B. Hogan Charitable Foundation. This funding was expressly given for Taly to begin studying the economic impact of parent engagement in early childhood education. When children have access to quality preschool, their parents are able to return to the workforce, thus allowing "both ships to rise together." This funding will fuel Taly's newly developed R&D Lab as we seek cutting-edge solutions for access to quality preschool for all children. Thank you to the Gisela B. Hogan Foundation for helping us with lift-off!

Jill & Phil Dixon began researching preschool options for their two children and were shocked to realize Early Childhood Education is both costly and not an opportunity that is afforded to all children.  As they continued their search, it became clear that there were tens of thousands of children in the State of Massachusetts alone who were unable to attend preschool.
